When John was diagnosed with leukemia, his son, Kenneth, and his Cub Scout pack worked together to encourage blood donations in John’s honor. “Not once did I ever think I would be a recipient,” says John, also a longtime donor. “I am truly thankful for people who consider others in their giving.”
