Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's mission is to partner with the community to help save and sustain lives by providing a safe supply of blood, blood components and related services.
Shena had a passion for helping others before she experienced a need
firsthand. After a major car accident, she used 11 units of blood.
“I know now how important giving blood really is,” Shena says.
Today she is studying to be a nurse and is proud of being able
to save lives herself.
