The state-of-the-art Lufkin Neighborhood Donor Center opened in September 2005. The donor center is conveniently located and has hours of operation designed to make your blood donation a pleasant experience. Patient needs in this region require that we collect at least 900 blood donations each day.

- - A variety of ways you can choose to help save a life, including platelet and whole blood donations;
- - Play area with toys for youngsters, complete with a Sony PlayStation®2 game system so kids can have fun while parents donate;
- - Fresh baked cookies that are prepared daily;
- - An experienced and knowledgeable staff member ready to answer questions and care for you while you help save lives; and
- - Apheresis technology: Trima.
