Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s Mobile Operations Complex has been awarded silver-level LEED® certification from U.S. Green Building Council and Green Building Certification Institute. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification system is the preeminent standard for green building design.

The Blood Center observed National Day of Prayer on Thursday with the 19th Annual National Day of Prayer Breakfast, held this year at Houston Baptist University’s Morris Cultural Arts Center. The breakfast was an occasion to recognize the many faith-based groups that Commit for Life and hold drives with The Blood Center.
