Congratulations, Erica Beasley
When Lone Star College student Erica Beasley donated blood for the first time this April, the satisfaction of saving lives was all she expected in return. After donating, she received a scratch-off ticket that revealed three watches in a row, making her the winner of a pair of Fossil-brand Commit for Life watches from Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s Commit for Life store.
Beasley, who donated during a blood drive at her school, is one of 12 winners who will receive a set of his-and-hers watches throughout April and May during The Blood Center’s Diamonds for Donors promotion. One lucky donor will take home the grand prize - a piece of diamond jewelry!
"I had to look twice at my scratch-off ticket," said Conroe resident Beasley, who was pleasantly surprised to win the watches. "I enjoyed the donation experience, and I'm glad I could help save lives."
